Victorian Gentleman Charm in 9ct Rose Gold

A$150.00

This charm was originally a single cufflink and when I first saw it, I thought it was a Victorian train conductor… apparently it’s Lord Kitchener! Herbert Kitchener was the British Secretary of State for War during WWI and previously represented England in Africa during the Second Boer War, when this cufflink would was made.

The charm is hollow, and is quite dented on the back. There is a split to the gold along the edge of the charm near the bale. There’s light scratching and surface wear mainly to the back of the charm and there is a visible spot where the cufflink chain was removed.

9ct rose gold (English hallmarks on the back showing it was made in 1900, in Chester, in 9ct gold)

Measures 16mm across (excluding bale). Weighs approx 1g.
