This lovely garnet ring isn’t as old as it looks! It’s recently made, but in a Georgian style with beautiful floral details on the shank and a nice wide gold border around the red garnet.
One shoulder of the ring has been reinforced at the back with extra gold, and this extra gold is visible from the front of the ring (as it covers where the split shank should be open). The garnet is vibrant and in great shape with some very minor wear to the facet edges. The ring overall is in great condition, with just light surface wear to the gold. Ready to wear!
