This shield shaped signet ring dates to the early 1900’s and is a great shape with tapered shoulders supporting the centre shield. The shoulders are nicely detailed without being too ornate - a piece like this was designed to be easy to wear.
The initials ‘AJF’ are hand engraved on the shield in a lovely script, although these could be removed if you’d prefer to add your own initials or leave the signet blank.
The ring is slightly out of round but still comfortable to wear. There is a deep scratch on the inside of the band behind the shield, but this can’t be seen when worn. There’s minor surface wear to the gold and some minor thinning to the sides of the ring, but overall in very good condition and ready to wear.
